The Solara M series are a series of modules for marine applications. The modules are frameless and do not use glass. The PV cells are bonded on a stainless steel backing and the modules are slightly flexible.
The unique construction allows these modules to be mounted on flat services such as the ship's deck. Once mounted, these modules can be walked over.
Because the stainless steel construction, the full encapsulation of the PV cells and the absence of a frame, these modules are particularly suitable for buoys.
In the RV market, these modules provide a solution to mount PV to a vehicle without causing drag and without the need for penetrating the roof with bolts.
